The Warehouse Driver's primary responsibility is delivering goods and materials between warehouses, distribution centers, and jobsites. This will involve tasks such as picking, receiving, packaging, loading and unloading trucks, operating forklifts or pallet jacks, and ensuring safe and timely deliveries of orders. There will also be basic warehouse duties like inventory management and maintenance of the warehouse. Associate is required to complete these tasks in accordance to company SOP’s.
Operations:
· Operate company vehicles such as Pickup Truck, Box Truck, and Flatbed to and from jobsites safely
· Maintain and inspect company vehicles weekly through the Fleet management app
· Assist with loading and unloading materials
· Maintain company vehicles clean
· Operate dolly, pallet jack, and/or forkliftInspect shipments for damage, loss, or defects
· Prepare orders for shipment in accordance with the pick ticket and customer requirements
· Collaborating with warehouse personnel to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of orders.
· Assisting in warehouse safety, organization and maintenance
· Responsible for accurately receiving, reporting, and distributing purchased items
· Assisting with inventory checks, documenting quantities, and ensuring accurate records.
Construction jobsite and warehouse conditions, which include exposure to high temperatures; cool/cold temperatures; weather conditions, and loud noises. Some general office and construction trailer working conditions. Job site walking. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; talk or hear; perform fine motor, hand and finger skills in the use of a keyboard, telephone, or writing. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; and reach with arms and/or hands. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
